Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Health Care Reimbursement After
January 1, 2011 over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and drugs will
require a physician’s prescription in order to be eligible for
reimbursement from a health flexible spending account (FSA). Though the
specific list of items has not been finalized,
the following categories
of items will require a physician’s prescription in order to be
reimbursed from your FSA account. FSA plan participants will no longer
be able to purchase OTC items with their debit card; however, you may
submit claims along with your prescription to Discovery.Website: www.discoverybenefits.com Customer Service: 866-451-3399 |
